Use the program duration when planning living costs

Three named cost rows do not mean three complete calendar years. The program combines different semester patterns and clinical study, with possible relocation. Check the academic subjects, entrance assessment and physical readiness requirements before choosing your own study budget.

Tuition and listed additional fees

Period Semesters Tuition Additional fees Total
Year 1 2.5* $27,258.00 $2,015.00 $29,273.00
Year 2 3 $23,541.00 $2,445.75 $25,986.75
Year 3 1 $7,434.00 $882.25** $8,316.25
Published program total $63,576.00

The additional-fee column is already included in each total. The 2.5* label means mixed full-time and part-time study; part-time semesters have no UPass. The ** note bases the final additional-fee amount on six months of health and dental benefits. These rows sit in SAIT's international section, although one introductory sentence there says domestic students.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Check the four subject groups and assessment

SAIT assesses the documents and course equivalents for education completed outside Canada. Demonstrating English proficiency does not by itself establish that your academic subjects meet the program requirements.

Check the complete admission requirements ↗
  1. Current academic route

At least 75% in Math 30-1 or 30-2, English Language Arts 30-1 and Physics 30, plus at least 75% in one of Biology 30, Chemistry 30 or Science 30, or accepted equivalents.

  2. Alternative from 2027/28

From the 2027/28 academic year, meet the current academic route or complete SAIT Pre-Health Sciences with at least B in each of ANPH 206, ANPH 207, COMM 269, MATH 269 and PHYS 201. English proficiency and the entrance-testing process remain required.

  3. Entrance testing and documents

The program requires at least 50% in the School’s entrance-testing process. Its PSEA policy lists Medical Radiologic Technology. For Fall 2027, apply and receive academic confirmation before booking; the deadline is still to be announced. Education completed abroad requires international document assessment.

English proficiency is a separate requirement

Assessment results must be from within the year before your application. A transfer or deferral can require updated results when that period has passed.

  • The program requires annual BLS Provider Level C updates from the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Check the complete readiness list and placement conditions, including the formal accommodation process where applicable.
