What happens at checkout?

You pay your first month ($40) plus a one-time $40 device handling fee, plus taxes — $80 + taxes in total today.

After payment, you'll receive a secure link by WhatsApp and email to complete ID verification (passport and visa/permit).

Your eSIM is activated 24 hours before your arrival in Canada.

Your Samsung Galaxy A17 is ready for pickup at our airport location on your arrival date, or can be delivered anywhere in Canada.

What if I cancel my plan before the 24-month term ends?

Your Rogers plan is month-to-month, but your phone is financed over 24 months ($315.84 total, $13.16/month). While you stay on the plan, a monthly credit covers your phone payment.

If you cancel your plan, cancel financing, or move to a lower plan before 24 months, the monthly credit stops and the remaining phone balance becomes due to Rogers.

Example: cancel after 10 months → 14 × $13.16 = $184.24 remaining balance (plus applicable taxes).

What happens after 24 months?

Your phone is fully paid off and yours to keep. Your plan continues at the current rate of $70/month unless you change it.

Can I get a physical SIM instead of eSIM?

Yes. Place your order with eSIM first, then message our team on WhatsApp or email [email protected] with your order number, and we'll convert it to a physical SIM.

  • At checkout: your first month (CA$40) plus a CA$40 one-time Rogers device setup charge, added at checkout. CanadianSIM deposits both into your Rogers account.
  • Phone: Samsung Galaxy A17 5G, 128GB storage / 4GB RAM, Black (model SM-A176WZKAXAC), CA$0 down. Device price CA$315.84 + tax, financed over 24 months (CA$13.16/month). A Rogers Financing Program credit of CA$13.16/month offsets the device payment for 24 months.
  • Taxes extra, including tax on the monthly device financing (e.g. CA$1.72/month in Ontario; varies by province).
  • After 24 months the plan discount ends and the plan is billed at CA$70/month.

Important terms

  • Mobile service is month to month. The device is financed over 24 months.
  • If you cancel your service or device financing before 24 months, the remaining device balance becomes due and the CA$13.16/month financing credit ends. Moving to a lower plan category also removes the credit.
  • No Canadian credit history needed. Service and financing are subject to Rogers approval and identity verification (eKYC).
  • Device returns: within 15 days of activation (30 days if you self-identify with a disability), in complete and original condition, to the location where you received it.
  • Pick up at a CanadianSIM airport location or get it delivered anywhere in Canada.
  • Your mobile service is provided and billed by Rogers Communications Canada Inc. CanadianSIM (Wireless DNA Inc.) is an authorized Rogers dealer.
