Plan the study budget ↓
Plan for relocation and confirm the full three-semester charges
The program's course plan has three semesters, while its $21,014.90 tuition-and-fee table lists two. The source does not resolve that allocation. Required relocation adds housing decisions, including approximately $4,600 for second-semester Banff residence. Confirm the full schedule and charges before treating the table as a complete personal budget.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Year 1 | 2 | $18,999.90 | $2,015.00 | $21,014.90 |

The additional-fee column is already included in each total. The table combines $18,999.90 tuition and $2,015 listed fees. It says two semesters while the course plan says three. Confirm the full charges for your itinerary rather than deriving a per-semester price from these figures.

Books, uniforms, shoes and textbooks are approximately $500 per full-time year, with a suitable device needed separately. Besides the roughly $4,600 Banff residence figure, SAIT quotes approximately $2,500 for employer-dependent Bow Valley accommodation without a clear period. Do not treat that amount as a monthly rate or add housing twice if your entered living allowance already includes it.
Confirm your qualification assessment, the full three-semester itinerary, residence arrangements and intake charges directly. SAIT's application section describes priority for qualifying SAIT Hospitality and Tourism Management diploma graduates and an equivalency process for other hospitality diplomas.
Read the application payment guide ↗Check the academic route
SAIT assesses the documents and course equivalents for education completed outside Canada. Demonstrating English proficiency does not by itself establish that your academic subjects meet the program requirements.
Check the complete admission requirements ↗-
Prior qualification
A recognized post-secondary degree or diploma in hospitality, tourism or business, with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.3, equivalent to 67% or C+, and at least 20 courses or 60 credits.
-
Education and experience
A combination of education and experience may be considered with Academic Chair approval. This is a discretionary assessment rather than automatic entry from work history.
-
Language and international documents
English proficiency and an international document assessment for foreign education remain required. The application section's SAIT hospitality-diploma priority and other diploma equivalency process do not remove the broader formal academic routes.
English proficiency is a separate requirement
Assessment results must be from within the year before your application. A transfer or deferral can require updated results when that period has passed.
