ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Check the academic route

SAIT assesses the documents and course equivalents for education completed outside Canada. Demonstrating English proficiency does not by itself establish that your academic subjects meet the program requirements.

  1. Mathematics benchmark

The source lists ‘at least 50% in Math 30-1, Math 30-2’. It does not express the relationship between those two course names. Ask SAIT to confirm how your mathematics meets that benchmark.

  2. English

At least 50% in English Language Arts 30-1 or 60% in English Language Arts 30-2. English proficiency and assessment of education completed outside Canada also apply.

English proficiency is a separate requirement

Assessment results must be from within the year before your application. A transfer or deferral can require updated results when that period has passed.

THE STUDY STRUCTURE

A common core followed by specialization choices

The diploma totals 63 credits across 22 courses. Its structure includes hospitality core and multi-disciplinary core courses, one capstone choice, two junior specialization choices and one senior specialization choice. Availability affects the options. REST 300 appears in more than one group, so this guide does not treat every listed entry as another required course.
