ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Check the academic route

SAIT assesses the documents and course equivalents for education completed outside Canada. Demonstrating English proficiency does not by itself establish that your academic subjects meet the program requirements.

Check the complete admission requirements ↗
  1. Current subjects

Math 30-1 at 70% or Math 30-2 at 75%; English Language Arts 30-1 at 70%; Chemistry 30 at 70%; and one of Biology 30, Physics 30 or Math 31 at 70%. Meet the combined average of 75% as well as these individual minima, or accepted equivalents.

  2. Alternative from 2027/28

Meet the current route or complete SAIT Pre-Health Sciences with a program GPA of at least 3.0 and at least B- in each of ANPH 206, ANPH 207, CHEM 229, COMM 269 and MATH 269. This future admission route does not change the year of the displayed tuition estimate.

  3. Testing and international documents

SAIT states a minimum mark of 50% in the School's entrance-testing process. Nuclear Medicine appears on the PSEA list. For Fall 2027, booking follows an application and confirmation that academic requirements are met; deadlines are to be announced. English proficiency and assessment of foreign education remain separate requirements.

English proficiency is a separate requirement

Assessment results must be from within the year before your application. A transfer or deferral can require updated results when that period has passed.

PREPARING FOR THE PROGRAM

Prepare for the clinical placements

  • The central practicum checklist requires consent, immunization records, a Police Information Check, CPR and N95 mask-fit documentation for Nuclear Medicine Technology. Follow the emailed instructions before arranging checks or CPR documentation.
  • The PSEA fee is US$25 per program and intake attempt. Keep that separate from the dollars in the tuition table and from later professional examination charges.
  • Travel or relocation, document verification and immunization-related expenses are additional planning items. Use SAIT's formal process for any accommodation and placement questions.
