Difference between eSIM and Physical SIM

eSIM is a digital SIM that's downloaded directly to your phone — no plastic card required. Physical SIM is a traditional plastic card that you insert into your device.

How to install my eSIM

Your order confirmation is sent after payment. Your eSIM QR code is emailed and your line is activated 24 hours before your arrival in Canada. To install your eSIM, scan the QR code using your phone's camera while connected to a stable Wi-Fi network (not a hotspot), then follow the on-screen prompts.

How do I get my physical SIM card

We ship physical SIM cards to select countries and also offer pickup at six airport locations across Canada. Once your order is placed, your SIM card will be shipped to the address you provided.

Why should I buy an SIM before coming to Canada

Getting a Canadian SIM card before you land gives you a Canadian phone number from day one—useful for opening bank accounts, securing housing, arranging ride-sharing, and staying connected with family. Avoid roaming charges and the hassle of finding a SIM card at the airport, all at an exclusive price not available locally in Canada.
