AccountingSAIT
The Accounting certificate has ten courses, including a final capstone and a choice of electives. Its published tuition assumes a full-time year, even though SAIT allows more time to finish the credential.
Plan the study budget ↓
Choose the study load before setting the budget
SAIT's estimate covers 15 credits in each of two semesters. The five-year completion window gives you scheduling flexibility; it does not turn the one-year estimate into five years of tuition. A different course load can change your semester fees and final cost.
Plan the published study costs
International estimates for entry in 2026/27. Your letter of admission may show a higher maximum tuition guarantee.
Tuition and listed additional fees
| Period | Semesters | Tuition | Additional fees | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Year 1 | 2 | $18,780.00 | $1,764.50 | $20,544.50 |

The additional-fee column is already included in each total. The table assumes 15 credits a semester for two semesters. A modified schedule can change fees and the final cost.

Allow approximately $1,000–$1,500 for books and supplies per full-time year, plus a computer meeting SAIT's standard bring-your-own-device requirements.
Rank your first and second program choices before submitting one international application. SAIT considers the second if the first has no availability.
Read the application payment guide ↗Check the academic route
SAIT assesses the documents and course equivalents for education completed outside Canada. Demonstrating English proficiency does not by itself establish that your academic subjects meet the program requirements.
Check the complete admission requirements ↗-
One mathematics route
At least 50% in Math 30-1, Math 30-2 or SAIT BMAT 230 Business Mathematics, or an accepted equivalent. English proficiency is also required.
-
Education completed abroad
Provide an international document assessment showing how your education meets the requirements. The published admission section does not add a separate high-school English grade to the mathematics requirement.
English proficiency is a separate requirement
Assessment results must be from within the year before your application. A transfer or deferral can require updated results when that period has passed.
