Separate the required capstone from the optional work term

The final-semester industry capstone lasts four months and is required. A co-op after semester two is optional, with four-, eight- or twelve-month options in the course section. Placement work may be paid or unpaid; neither wages nor an income offset belong in the tuition budget by default.

THE STUDY STRUCTURE

Water systems study with an industry capstone

SAIT publishes a requirement of 60 credits across 18 courses, with specialization options in water environmental technologies or advanced industry applications. Confirm the complete course sequence and credit requirements with SAIT: its public list places the zero-credit co-op in both elective and optional groups. Choosing a co-op does not establish that it replaces a required credit group.
