Include a Windows PC in the study plan

SAIT explicitly requires a Windows PC and says Mac-based laptops are unsupported for this program. Check the power-user specification before reusing a laptop or buying one. The lack of required textbooks does not remove the need to budget for a computer, supplies and protective equipment.

Preparing to study

The program quotes $1,000–$1,500 per full-time year for books and supplies while also stating there are no required textbooks. Keep that allowance separate from the required Windows power-user computer and PPE, which is discussed in the first days of class.

Applying to this program

Confirm the device specification alongside the academic requirements. This program's explicit Windows policy should guide the computer you plan to bring.
