Compare three management credentials and their entry routes

Management and Leadership is a certificate, this Management major is a diploma, and the Management BBA is a four-year degree. Their course plans and entry routes differ. The certificate's unresolved Year 2 cost-row label also needs confirmation; it should not be read as a second year added to this diploma's budget.

Preparing to study

Bring a standard-specification device and allow $1,000–$1,500 per full-time year for books and supplies. Review the duplicate-listed HR course and Management options before setting a reduced course load or planning later degree credit.

Applying to this program

Confirm the Management declaration process, chosen options and international intake. A GPA of at least 2.3 may support a later BBA route; CAPM or CIM preparation does not automatically award either professional credential.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Check the academic route

SAIT assesses the documents and course equivalents for education completed outside Canada. Demonstrating English proficiency does not by itself establish that your academic subjects meet the program requirements.

THE STUDY STRUCTURE

Choose distinct options for the twenty-course plan

The 60-credit plan contains 16 required three-credit courses, one business-core choice, one integrative experience and two Management choices. HRMT 320 appears both as required and in a generic option list; do not count it twice for six credits. Ask an advisor to confirm distinct choices. The integrative experience is ACWE 300 capstone or MNGT 395 Managing Strategically.
