BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Choose the qualification that matches your entry route

This diploma assesses mathematics and English school subjects alongside language proficiency. The post-diploma degree has a different entry requirement and price. For this route, also allow for the required equipment and cloud services that sit outside the annual tuition table.

Two Cyber Security study routes

The diploma uses school-subject entry requirements. The Bachelor of Technology starts after an eligible IT diploma, so its price covers a different stage of study.

Study route Published tuition and listed fees Entry route
Cyber Securitydiploma · 2 years $63,709.002026/27 Meet the published mathematics and English subject requirements plus English proficiency.
Bachelor of Technology – Cyber SecurityBachelor Degree · 2 years $59,269.002026/27 An eligible IT diploma or accredited equivalent with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.3 (67% or C+) is required, alongside English proficiency. The cost of earning that earlier qualification is outside this degree total.

Each amount is the published total for the named credential, excluding prior study and personal or separately charged expenses.

Preparing to study

Books and supplies are approximately $1,000–$1,500 per full-time year. Bring a power-user computer and allow approximately $800–$1,200 per year for required equipment and cloud services. Wait for instructor guidance before buying the equipment.

Applying to this program

The diploma can be considered on its own. An international program bundle is an option, rather than a requirement to commit to a second qualification.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Check the academic route

SAIT assesses the documents and course equivalents for education completed outside Canada. Demonstrating English proficiency does not by itself establish that your academic subjects meet the program requirements.

Check the complete admission requirements ↗
  1. Mathematics

At least 65% in Math 30-1 or 70% in Math 30-2, or accepted equivalents.

  2. English

At least 60% in English Language Arts 30-1 or 65% in English Language Arts 30-2, or accepted equivalents. Both subject groups and English proficiency are required; foreign education needs an international document assessment.

English proficiency is a separate requirement

Assessment results must be from within the year before your application. A transfer or deferral can require updated results when that period has passed.
