Check the course map and practical driving expectations
SAIT declares 60 credits across 20 courses, but its required-course table lists 24 rows totalling 60 credits. The overview also describes a team capstone without identifying a capstone row in that table. Ask the program to confirm the complete course map. Its traits section and equipment guidance also describe the driver's-licence expectation differently, so confirm the practical requirement separately from academic admission.

Books and supplies are approximately $450 per full-time year. Bring a standard-specification device, CSA steel-toe boots and safety glasses, welding gloves and coveralls. Earplugs and program tools are supplied. The equipment guidance highly recommends a licence and the ability to manoeuvre vehicles and drive a manual transmission.
Confirm the course map, workshop expectations and international intake. SAIT describes alignment with technical apprenticeship examinations; diploma completion does not replace the separate apprenticeship, examination and workplace-hour requirements.

SAIT assesses the documents and course equivalents for education completed outside Canada. Demonstrating English proficiency does not by itself establish that your academic subjects meet the program requirements.

English proficiency is a separate requirement
Assessment results must be from within the year before your application. A transfer or deferral can require updated results when that period has passed.

Confirm the published count before setting a reduced load
The listed course rows sum to the stated 60 credits, although the 20-course headline and 24-row table differ. Electrical study follows the ELTR 217, 273, 304 and 305 prerequisite sequence. The second-year team capstone involves research, a proposal, execution and reporting; its exact course mapping needs confirmation rather than adding an extra course to the published total.
