ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

School subjects or one of two alternatives

The subject route needs English and math together. The GED route uses this program's own 520 mathematics threshold rather than the lower score accepted by some office programs.

  1. English and mathematics subjects

Credit in English Language Arts 30-1 or at least 65% in 30-2, or equivalent, and credit in Math 30-1 or Math 30-2, or equivalent.

  2. GED tests

Successful completion with minimum standard scores of 520 in Interpreting Literature and Art, Writing Skills and Mathematics.

  3. College assessment

Satisfactory results on the Admission and Placement Test, with English proficiency and foreign-document assessment checked separately.

Check English proficiency separately

This business program uses the general English table: IELTS Academic with every band at 6.0, TOEFL 83, Duolingo 110, CLB 8 in each strand, PTE Academic 59–64 as displayed, or BVC Academic English 2 with B−. Academic English 1 is not accepted. Those language routes are separate from the event project and program classification.

Education alternatives

  • Canadian academic English courseSuccessful completion of the Alberta English Language Arts course or Canadian-education equivalent meeting the career program's English-subject requirement.

The intake resource has conflicting freshness metadata, so its observed labels require confirmation before use as current availability. Individual admission, equivalency and immigration decisions remain with the relevant institution or authority.
