Management and LeadershipSAIT
Management and Leadership is a 30-credit certificate with eight required courses, including the business capstone, plus two electives. SAIT publishes a $20,364.50 international tuition-and-fee estimate, with a year label that needs clarification before you rely on it.

Confirm the cost period for your intended pace
The headline says one year and the course description permits one to five years, while the only international cost row is labelled Year 2. The planner preserves that label. Ask SAIT which period and course load the amount covers instead of assuming either a second paid year or a complete price for a slower schedule.

Tuition and listed additional fees
| Period | Semesters | Tuition | Additional fees | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Year 2 | 2 | $18,600.00 | $1,764.50 | $20,364.50 |
| Total of listed periods | $20,364.50 | |||
The additional-fee column is already included in each total. The literal international row is Year 2, two semesters: $18,600 tuition plus $1,764.50 in included fees. This source label does not establish a two-year certificate or resolve the price of a modified schedule.

Books and supplies are approximately $1,000–$1,500 per full-time year, alongside a device meeting standard requirements. Budget for the actual pace you agree with SAIT. The capstone brings students from different disciplines together to address a business or community challenge.
Ask about the cost-row label, pace and any assessment of prior experience before applying. Up to nine courses may count toward later Business Administration or BBA study, depending on the major and its additional admission requirements; advanced standing is not guaranteed.

SAIT assesses the documents and course equivalents for education completed outside Canada. Demonstrating English proficiency does not by itself establish that your academic subjects meet the program requirements.
Check the complete admission requirements ↗-
One English subject route
At least 50% in English Language Arts 30-1, OR at least 60% in English Language Arts 30-2, OR at least 50% in SAIT COMN 220 Communication and Presentation Skills, or an accepted equivalent.
-
Experience
A minimum of three years' work experience is strongly recommended. The Academic Chair may consider a combination of education and experience; the recommendation is not a universal mandatory three-year work history.
-
Language and assessment
Demonstrate English proficiency and have education completed outside Canada assessed. The published academic routes do not add a general Math admission prerequisite.
English proficiency is a separate requirement
Assessment results must be from within the year before your application. A transfer or deferral can require updated results when that period has passed.

- A post-secondary English courseA credit course in English, comparative literature, communications or an equivalent at SAIT or a recognized post-secondary institution requires at least a C.
- English Language FoundationsThe SAIT route requires both COMN 155 and SPCH 155. Other recognized pathways have their own levels and assessment conditions; check the complete policy before choosing one.
Finish the required courses and two electives before the capstone
Complete ten courses for 30 credits: eight required three-credit courses, including MNGT 257, and two of seven three-credit electives. Take the capstone only after the other required courses and both electives. Its long prerequisite text contains routes for several certificates; the requirements for those other routes should not be combined with the Management and Leadership list.
