Have SAIT assess an experience-based application

The top notice mentions previous post-secondary study or related work experience. The detailed admission section requires a recognized degree or diploma, with a combination of education and experience considered on Academic Chair approval. Related work therefore needs an individual assessment rather than an unconditional work-only entry promise.

Three different cyber security credentials

The qualification, prior-study requirements and complete-program total differ. These are separate study routes rather than interchangeable prices for one certificate.

Preparing to study

Budget approximately $1,000–$1,500 per full-time year for books and supplies, plus a device meeting SAIT's linked power-user requirements. Exact hardware specifications have not been captured here. The program says textbooks are discussed in class and need not be purchased ahead of time.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Check the academic route

SAIT assesses the documents and course equivalents for education completed outside Canada. Demonstrating English proficiency does not by itself establish that your academic subjects meet the program requirements.

Check the complete admission requirements ↗
  1. Prior qualification

A recognized post-secondary degree or diploma, together with English proficiency.

  2. Education and experience

The Academic Chair may approve a combination of education and experience. Confirm the decision before relying on the broader work-experience notice; the detailed rule does not supply automatic entry or a minimum number of experience years.

  3. International education

Provide the required assessment of education completed outside Canada. This certificate is distinct from SAIT's Cyber Security diploma and Cyber Security BTech.

English proficiency is a separate requirement

Assessment results must be from within the year before your application. A transfer or deferral can require updated results when that period has passed.

THE STUDY STRUCTURE

Nine connected courses over two semesters

SAIT describes preparation to challenge Security+; the certificate does not itself award that external certification.
