Common questions

Do I need a Canadian credit history?

Requirements depend on the offer. CanadianSIM has prepaid options and qualifying pre-arrival monthly offers advertised without a credit check. Eligibility and verification still apply.

Will my number work while I am still abroad?

Receiving a number or installing an eSIM does not itself enable overseas service. Follow the plan’s activation and roaming terms; do not rely on overseas SMS unless that use is supported.

Should I choose prepaid or a monthly plan?

Compare your stay length, total cost, billing terms, calling needs, and hotspot requirements. The billing guide explains how each type of plan works.
