Confirm who arranges your practicum
The program overview says SAIT organizes the placement, but the PRCT 385 course description says students locate a suitable position with coordinator assistance and obtain Academic Chair approval. Ask the program which arrangement applies before relying on a guaranteed placement. The four-week practicum follows completion of the other 20 courses.

Non-refundable · One application with ranked choices
Books and supplies are approximately $1,000–$1,500 per full-time year, with a standard-specification device also required. Include the unpaid placement in your schedule and living budget. Office simulation does not replace the final practicum.
Check the current practicum arrangement and the course load you intend to take. The two-year estimate does not promise the same final charges for a seven-year part-time schedule.

SAIT assesses the documents and course equivalents for education completed outside Canada. Demonstrating English proficiency does not by itself establish that your academic subjects meet the program requirements.

English
At least 50% in English Language Arts 30-1 or 30-2, or an accepted equivalent.
-
Math
At least 50% in Math 10C or Math 20-3, or an accepted equivalent.

English proficiency and assessment of foreign education are separate requirements. LEGA 205 strongly recommends 30 net words per minute on entry and requires 40 net words per minute to pass that course; neither figure should be treated as a newly stated program admission test.
English proficiency is a separate requirement
Assessment results must be from within the year before your application. A transfer or deferral can require updated results when that period has passed.

Twenty classroom courses followed by the practicum
The diploma requires 61.5 credits across 21 courses: 20 three-credit classroom courses and the 1.5-credit PRCT 385 practicum. The program has two semesters in year one and three in year two. Full-time study means around 20 classroom hours weekly plus approximately six homework hours per course. A reduced load is possible within the stated seven-year completion limit.
