Bring a power-user laptop and confirm any hosted virtual-laboratory tools required for your classes. The source quotes books and supplies at $1,000–$1,500 per full-time year; that annual range is not a specific invoice for this short certificate.
Check the current Network Systems Specialist intake and its exact dates. An older Network Technician course or general Open Studies information does not replace this certificate's admission and fee details.

SAIT assesses the documents and course equivalents for education completed outside Canada. Demonstrating English proficiency does not by itself establish that your academic subjects meet the program requirements.
Check the complete admission requirements ↗-
High-school English route
At least 60% in English Language Arts 30-1 or 30-2, or an accepted equivalent.
-
Alternative study route
At least two years of recognized post-secondary education can satisfy the stated alternative. The two routes are alternatives, not cumulative requirements.
-
Experience and language
Operating-system, cloud or networking knowledge is strongly recommended, rather than a stated mandatory work-history requirement. English proficiency and assessment of foreign education still apply.
English proficiency is a separate requirement
Assessment results must be from within the year before your application. A transfer or deferral can require updated results when that period has passed.

Six courses including a network design project
SAIT lists 21 credits across six required courses, including NETT 262 Network Design and Implementation Project. Study includes practical networking and preparation for the CCNA examination. Completing the certificate does not automatically award an external certification. The 15-week course description and 16-week catalogue remain separate source observations.
